Our Mission

Our mission is to inspire cancer patients to fight and venture outside the box for support, inspiration, and to provide various activities geared to their needs. Our goal is to create a relaxing environment to get away from the routine treatments and medical surroundings and make a very difficult journey easier; by educating, pampering, and finding outlets for stress, anger, and emotional pain without any financial obligations. We also strive to assist people in remission adjusting back to normal life and endeavor to create a positive environment, to help people keep a positive attitude, and to obtain positive results.

Our Story

In January 2006 Brandy's mother, Shirley, was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer. Brandy and her father were her mother's caretakers. During this time Brandy thought it would be great to take her mother somewhere she could relax, even if it was just for a few minutes. The first thing that came to mind was a massage. Brandy called around to different places and no place would take her mother because she had cancer. The seed was planted. Brandy thought it would be great to have a place where people with cancer could go and have a massage by a certified oncology massage therapist. Through the years this idea grew and developed into Willow Haven Inspirational Spa.

Our House

Our vision of the house is a cozy place that is like a home away from home. At first sight it takes your breath away and for just those first few seconds you forget why you are really there. It will be a place filled with positive thoughts and laughter. It will feel as a safe haven.

Our Logo

We discussed how we wanted the spa to be a safe haven for cancer patients and their caretakers. A place where their appearance is not judged. We also wanted to integrate the serenity of nature and, in this way, the willow tree was chosen as its image provides a sense of solace and protection. We are wanting to provide inspiration and help people to fight and provide them with different outlets of stress in hope of making a very difficult journey a little less difficult. So the name Willow Haven Inspirational Spa came to be.

The logo, created by Robyn Stratton, inspired by the calming and healing qualities of the willow tree, aims to invoke relaxation and restoration. The flowing curves and natural calming colors, add to a therapeutic experience and mood.
